Pillars of Study
Philosophy
The origin of all other fields of study, philosophy is not a collection of knowledge, but rather a disposition to pursuing and loving truth and wisdom.
Theology
As study of spiritual inquiries, the focus of theology is the nature of immaterial existence and how the immaterial relates to the material.
Science
By accumulating and synthesizing observations of material things, science searches to understand the function and nature of the physical world.
With these three pillars of study, I hope to arrive, like St. Augustine when at Cassiciacum, to greater knowledge of the fullness of the Truth.
